Our Church

On any Island blessed as a destination for holiday makers you’d expect life to be casual and relaxed about most things and our church is much the same. So there is nothing pretentious about our church, people come as they are. Whether you are a regular at church or someone who is just taking a relaxed moment to investigate the claims of Jesus Christ, all are welcome.

What we do take very seriously is the Bible and people’s relationship with its divine author. We believe that God speaks and reveals himself by His Spirit through His Word. So we are committed to solid teaching from the Bible week in and week out.

Our weekly gatherings are special times together when God and our church family meet as one. We hear what God has to say to us in His Word, the Bible. They are always times of encouragement and challenge intended to bring about praise and glad service of God.

As Christians, we all share the most profound experience imaginable – our Adoption by God the Father, the Atonement for our sins through the death of Jesus Christ and the Awakening from our unbelief by the Holy Spirit to a trust in Almighty God. That experience brings with it the forgiveness of our sins, a fresh start with God, assistance for living, and the promise of eternal life.

Such experience should be, and always is, celebrated with one another after church over food and coffee. We are committed to building loving friendships and to helping each other live lives that truly honour the One
